Safety

Safety first.

JGusew Computers is built around practical help, but your safety comes first. Some technology problems involve private information, money, identity, accounts, or security. In those situations, it is better to slow down and be careful than rush into a bad fix.

Please do not send us

Do not include any of the following in your email or in the contact form:

  • Passwords of any kind
  • Banking passwords or PINs
  • One-time codes, MFA codes, or SMS verification codes
  • Credit card or debit card numbers
  • Full identity documents (passport, driver licence)
  • Full bank statements
  • Sensitive legal or medical documents
  • Screenshots showing private account details

JGusew Computers does not need these details to start helping.

We will never ask for

JGusew Computers will never ask you to send:

  • Your password
  • Your banking code or PIN
  • Your one-time login code
  • Your full credit card number
  • Your full identity documents

If anyone contacts you claiming to be from JGusew Computers and asks for those things, stop and check before responding.

If you think you've been scammed or hacked

Slow down. Take these steps in order:

  1. Do not send more money.
  2. Do not share codes or passwords with anyone.
  3. Do not let anyone pressure you into acting quickly.
  4. Contact your bank urgently if money or banking is involved.
  5. Change passwords only from a safe device — ask for help first if you are not sure how.
  6. Ask for help before clicking more links or installing software.

JGusew Computers can help you organise the next steps. It is not an emergency cyber incident response service — if you are under active attack, contact your bank and the Australian Cyber Security Centre (cyber.gov.au) directly.

Elderly and vulnerable customers

JGusew Computers takes extra care when money, banking, scams, identity documents, or major purchases are involved for elderly or vulnerable customers.

In those situations, it may be sensible to involve a trusted family member or support person. The goal is to help, not pressure.

How AI is used

JGusew Computers may use AI to help organise enquiries, classify issues, and prepare draft replies.

The rule is simple: AI drafts. Jehiah reviews. Nothing important is sent on autopilot. Sensitive customer information is not placed into external AI tools.

No guarantees

Technology advice depends on the information available. JGusew Computers will be practical, honest, and careful — but cannot guarantee:

  • A device can be fixed
  • A repair will last
  • Data can be recovered
  • A scam loss can be reversed
  • A specific product will stay in stock or at the same price

Our promise

  • Speak plainly — no jargon
  • Avoid pressure
  • Ask questions when uncertain rather than guess
  • Explain risks clearly
  • Say when a specialist is needed
  • Avoid overpromising
  • Protect your information

Not sure what is safe to send? Email with a general description only — do not include passwords, codes, identity documents, or private financial information. We'll ask for what we actually need.
